100 residents currently make the Center their home, in 3 wards. Each ward is adapted to a different level of disability and planned according to the latest research on the needs of dementia sufferers. A new wing, presently under construction, will accommodate 60 additional residents. The residents enjoy daily routines of organized activities, including occupational therapy, art, therapeutical gardening, music, and dance. They walk in the surrounding gardens and rest on sun-filled porches. The bedrooms and common areas are cheerful and brightly furnished. Exercise and physiotherapy are a part of the general daily routine, and include even the frailest of residents. Meals are planned and supervised by an on-site nutritionist. Special menus are provided for residents with special needs. Short-term stay is available for patients who are cared for at home, for medication adjustment or as a respite for family caregivers. Relatives can use the Contact Us page to request the Skype address, so they can talk to their loved ones and see them on live video. |
