The Stuchinski Ramat-Gan Alzheimer Research and Treatment Center was founded in 2001 by a non-profit foundation supported by public and private contributions. The Center provides long-term care to 100 residents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, diagnostic diagnostic services to outpatients, and short-term hospitalization for medication adjustment.

The Center, which is the only one in Israel uniquely devoted to Alzheimer's disease, has on its Scientific Board internationally known scientists who strive to find new and better treatments for this dreaded disease, ways to slow its progression, and hopefully a cure.

The center operates a Diagnosis and Consultation Clinic, which also provides community services such as counseling on rights and social benefits for patients, support groups, conferences, and training sessions for both professional and family caregivers.

On-line video and phone contacts are available for residents' families who live overseas. Relatives can use the Contact Us page to request the Skype address, so they can talk to their loved ones and see them on live video.
